Remodeling 550, 2017
Business is booming for the nation’s largest remodeling companies: The top 300 full-service firms on our list reported 6.7% more revenue in 2016 than last year’s top 300 did in 2015, while the top 150 replacement contractor companies saw a 16.1% increase in home improvement revenue.

Each year, ProSales’ sister publication, Remodeling, puts out a list of the 550 top remodelers in the nation. The list is broken up into several sub-categories such as full-service remodeling companies and replacement contractors. This year’s 550 “finds the nation’s largest remodeling firms are bigger and healthier than ever,” says the article.

The Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation is used to identify those that have been trained to help seniors & older adults live in their homes safely as they age. The CAPS program helps professionals learn the technical, business management and customer service skills needed to serve the needs of older adults.
The Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation is achieved by individuals with at least five years of experience in the building industry upon completion of the appropriate courses that are designed to emphasize business and project management skills.
